Newsletters – Embedded Images 1.6

We released version 1.6 of the Newsletters – Embedded Images extension plugin.

What is Embedded Images?

Attach/embed images into emails instead of loading the images remotely to prevent image disabling and immediate loading of newsletters in the WordPress Newsletter plugin.

Why do I need to Update?

It now supports embedded/inline images for SparkPost API as well as the new SendGrid API v3. All mail APIs can now use embedded images.

We added an “Update Images Location” button under the extension’s settings which is useful when you entered an incorrect path or changed server environment to automatically detect the path that should be used for embedded images.

Several other improvements were made for reliability and usability.
